Generations

of traditions

Tonnellerie Damy was founded in 1946 by Roger Damy in Nantoux, France. In 1970, Roger’s son, Jacques, took over the business and moved it to the village centre in Meursault. Jacques Damy was awarded the prestigious title Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 1976.

Jérôme Damy—representing the third generation—oversaw the construction of a new workshop when faced with space constraints in 1988. He followed in his father’s footsteps by receiving the Meilleur Ouvrier de France title in 2007. Today, he is the CEO of Tonnellerie Damy.
